Có cái này cần hỏi các chuyên gia Windows( và Linux).

Hiện tại mình có Windows XP sp2 đã install trên ổ cứng SATA( drive C:) 250GB.

Win xp sp2 có bản quyền, nhưng không có recovery CD nên cần phải backup.

Mình muốn .

1. Chia lại ổ cứng để backup ổ C: và restore lại trạng thái "mới" của Windows XP SP2 lúc ban đầu

2. Chia lại ổ cứng để install thêm Linux

Không biết nên dùng tool nào? Nghe nói Symatec Ghost làm được có phải không nhỉ?

Hay có cách khác?

Anh Hưng dùng Acornis đi, cái này dễ dùng nhất.

Anh google cái Hiren's BootCD down về, trong đó có cả.Trong đấy có cả mấy cái tool chia ổ cứng.

Hình như version mới nhất là 9.6

Down xong bác đánh ra cái CD cho em(DVD cũng được). Cho vào ổ CD, khởi động lại máy, chọn boot từ cái CD này. Chọn Disk Clone Tools(thứ 2 từ trên xuống), vào đó chọn cái thứ 3 từ trên xuống, nó tên là Acronis True Image 8.1.945

Acronis thì thử download về, install nhưng không hiểu :), hình như nó không hỗ trợ partition resizing? -> nên thôi

Hiren thì có vẻ OK, nhưng lại phải burn thêm 1 CD nữa -> thôi .

Sẵn trong tay có Ghost 2003, download thêm Partition Magic 8, resize lại partitions, backup lại ổ C( của Windows ) cài thêm Cent OS( đang dùng). Vậy là ổn .

Vấn đề là nếu restore lại C: bằng Ghost, MBR sẽ bị ghi đè nên phải restore lại 1 lần nữa MBR để có thể boot vào CentOS, qua Grub( đang dùng làm boot loader )
